Hey lovelies 💕 If you’ve been following along, you know I’m deep into my wellness journey—not just the supplements and better food choices, but the whole move-my-body-so-I-don’t-feel-like-a-mashed-potato part too. 🙃 Let’s be real for a sec: getting movement in as a busy, exhausted, real-life mom is… a full-on challenge. I haven’t posted in several weeks because I’ve been having a serious crisis related to my health and wellness. I’m only 50, but I feel like I’m 80. I love holiday weekends. My kids are still small, so I don’t succumb to the pressure of hurrying them off to every egg hunt and Easter Bunny photo in LA County. Today we slept in, had a leisurely breakfast of donut holes (*gasp*), fresh fruit, and chocolate milk. My husband and I sat on the…

About

On this 50th journey around the sun, I got restless and decided I needed something more for myself, my husband, and my two beautiful toddlers adopted from foster care. I have a demanding full-time job, I volunteer time to a non-profit, and I’m tired of saving for a full year just to go on vacation. This is my journey as an “older” mom, my journey into “passive” income, and the lessons I’m learning along the way.
